Mr. Baker Man--I've Got an Idea For You!

Well we've all heard of muffin tops, right? (And I'm not talking about the ones that spill out over the tops of our jeans sometimes). But there are food manufacturers that are selling muffin tops in stores now. Anyway, Mr. Baker Man, I was wondering if you could somehow start making donut tops because it seems that both my boys have this weird habit of eating their sprinkle donuts the same exact way, and well this idea just occured to me and I thought it could really be the next big thing. Well, not really but I thought it would be fun to blog about anyway...
Now I had many, many nieces and nephews and babysat lots and lots of different kids before I had my own children but Porter and Carter are the first kids I have ever seen eat a sprinkled donut this way. Actually, Carter had a chocolate raised glazed donut later and did the same exact thing again! Please tell me--is this normal? Do any of you have kids that eat their donuts this way too? Are there any other weird ways that kids eat things that I should be preparing myself for?

Hahaha... I did that same thing When I was Kid!!! I didn't like the taste of Donuts but for some reason I thought it would get better but, alas, the best part was always the glaze and sprinkles :)

Gotta love the frosting and sprinkles. Noah eats the whole donut...he hates sprinkles and won't touch them. Samuel eats just the sprinkles sometimes. It's a sweetness issue I guess.

Noah does that too!! But he prefers the chocolate cake donut. I love the things kids do...funny food thing, Noah eats everything out of a taco first and then eats the tortilla...weird I know!

I thought that was normal... or my kids are weird too!! I am a sprinkled donut lover myself. I saw your comment on my blog, so good to hear from you! It looks like you and Sam are doing great, what cute boys. I love blogging and keeping in touch, stop by anytime! (and know that I will too:)

You should market it and become a millionaire!!

I love your family blog too, what a cute family. I check sister's & spice regularly and have tried a few of the recipes, most recently the red velvet cake balls. Delicious! I have had my eye on the Tin Roof Pie though. I think that will be the next thing I try! Are you and your sister's from Utah?

I kinda wish that I was only interested in the top of the doughnut--I end up eating the whole thing, every time!

I sometimes think I should just save my money and buy a tub of frosting and some sprinkles for my kids.
