Joseph Smith's 1st Vision:Told by Porter

On the way to preschool this morning Porter said, "Mom I want to tell you a story about a boy who got lost in a forest. Do you know what his name was? It was Joseph Smith. He kneeled down in the forest and Heavenly Father and Jesus came and gave him the scriptures. Then Joseph went and told the people about the scriptures and said "The Lord Beloved". Some of the peoples didn't believe him and so he told them "The Lord Beloved" again and then some peoples did believe him."

As we drove up to Ms. Michelle's I said wow Porter that was a great story where did you learn it and he said Dad told me it during Sacrament. Now it may not be exactly how Sam told it, and it may not be gospel doctrine, but it made me feel good to know that he's been paying attention.

My Lil' Boys in the Hood

So, these pictures were taken a while ago at Grandma and Grandpa Morgan's.
The boys love to ride around the house giving eachother rides on a little Radio Flyer tricycle.
They were all ready to go, hence the hooded jackets, and were
riding around waiting for us to leave.

Talk about low riding--I don't even know how he was able to drive the bike around that way!

Happy New Year!

I love New Year's Eve with my family. My parents have all of us over and tell us to invite friends and we eat yummy appetizers and desserts and play games and let
the kids run wild until they pass out! Don't tell me that doesn't sound like a blast.

We are just a bunch of party people--us Morgans!!!

See what I mean--they just party till they pass out!!!!

Christmas Morning

After we left Sam's mom's house we hurried back to Temecula to spend a little time with my family before everyone went home, then got the boys in their Christmas jammies and went home and put them to bed. It was a lot of fun to open up stockings and presents with them at home and for the boys to play with their toys for a while before going to my parents house for the day.
Carter was so excited to get a Spiderman scooter from Santa!

My boys sitting around the tree!!!

Porter was totally rocking out on his guitar...

and pretty much has been ever since Christmas day!

A Little Review

The Cruz family--aren't they cute!

That excited look on Porter's face was there all night!

Sherri, she did such an awesome job and made it a wonderful Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas in 2007. On Christmas eve we drove out to Lakewood to celebrate Christmas with Sam's family. Sherri made an awesome breakfast-dinner and we had fun playing games and watching sports. The boys were so excited to get a head start at opening Christmas presents.

The Rath Family 2007

These are the pictures we took for our 2007 Christmas Cards. We took them back in November but never got around to making Christmas Cards and so I thought I would post some of my favorites. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
