Blogging from memory?

Yep, I think that is just what I'll do. I am going to take the pictures from my camera and whatever the different pictures are from that are on my memory card I will say a little something about them. (This is just my way of catching up on a month's worth of pics!)

We're trying to sell the Expedition so Sam asked me to take a picture of it.

Sam came home one night with four baby lizards that someone had found and given to him.

The boys absolutely loved playing with them...I don't really see the appeal though.
Wyatt and Grace were with us that night and had fun playing with the lizards...even Gracie did, except I didn't manage to get a picture of it.

Porter and I celebrated our birthdays this month, Porter turned 5 and I, well, we just won't talk about that...

Our Disneyland passes were about to expire and we aren't planning on renewing them this year so we thought it would be fun if Sam and I take Porter to Disneyland, just the three of us, so we could take him on all the fun rollercoasters without Carter holding us back.
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!

Porter also shared a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese with his cousin Kyle. Gotta love it.

And finally, although I didn't manage to get any pictures from Thanksgiving Day, I did take pictures of the kids when we took them and my niece and nephew out for ice cream on Friday while everyone else in the family went to the movies.
All-in-all I would have to say that November 2008 made for some pretty good times.
I'm dying to know, what is on your memory that you wouldn't normally blog about?
Come on lets see.

Ken's Birthday

Yesterday was Grandpa Ken's birthday and we had a little birthday party for him. Earlier in the day, Ken and Sam, went to the gym and boxed a little while Porter, Carter and I set to work decorating the house with streamers and balloons. Grandpa Ken was really suprised to see the decorations for his birthday and the boys loved being a part of it.

Amber, Peter and the boys came down to have dinner and spend the night. We had a lot of fun with them. See how much those kids just love their dad?

We really do have a good time when everyone is together and we hope that we were able to make Grandpa Ken's birthday a very special day!

Happy Birthday Ken.

Halloween Night

Halloween night we had our friends the Smiths and the Wulfensteins over for a pre-trick-or-treating potluck. The kids were so excited to go out together and really had a good time.

Carter's friend Grace decided she wanted to be a bride instead of Cinderella for the night. Joanna told me that when they were getting ready she asked Grace if she was going to marry Prince Charming, and she said "No, I am going to marry Carter."
Sam did an excellent job with the boys scary makeup, I only wish that I had been able to take a picture of them before they smeared their faces. They really did look a little more scary with their faces done up.

We had a great Halloween and enjoyed the night spending time with our friends.
(Oh, and Sam had another successful year of scaring kids with the "Charles" mask)!

Porter's Halloween Program

Porter's Halloween performance was definately more eventful than Carter's was, only because he actually performed. He had a great time singing the songs he learned from Ms. Michelle.

Porter with his buddies from Preschool/Church:Cory, Isaac, and Kyle.
The whole class with Ms. Michelle.

A picture of Porter showing us his skills.
