Last week we spent a few days in Oceanside with Sherri. We spent a lot of time at the beach and it was so beautiful there. Porter had no problem playing in the water but Carter wouldn't really go down there without me or Sherri. The boys had the most fun jumping over the waves and looking for shells and sandcrabs.
After spending a few hours at the beach we would go and spend some time at the pool. Porter is just about ready to go without floaties and had so much time to practice. Carter was just in his happy place since he was able to spend so much of the day in water. He loves, loves, loves being in water.
Thank you so much Sherri for inviting us to spend the week with you. We all enjoyed it so much. In fact, the first thing Porter said to me this morning was "Mom, I had a lot of fun at the beach." We will always remember what a great vacation we got to have with Grandma Sherri.

It looks like you guys had so much fun! Tori is always asking me to take her to the beach (we live an hour and a half from the OCEAN but 10 min from the sound) I keep telling her when we go to CA in SEPT we will go (we should meet up while I am in town)
Jealous! While everyone's kids are swimming, I'm just proud that Isaac finally wore water wings for the first time at the end of summer! (He's afraid of drains in pools)
We need to meet up!
It was great catching up for a few minutes yesterday. . . thanks again for your help with the Gabe-man! It would be fun to get the boys together some morning soon!
